National Geographic Saints and Strangers
Award-winning director Salomon Ligthelm is known for his textural, visual storytelling and distinctive, experimental style—all of which made this custom commercial shoot a blast to edit. National Geographic’s two-part miniseries, Saints & Strangers, chronicled the Mayflower voyage to America, and the Pilgrims’ first year in the New World. Our greatest challenge was scouring through ten hours of beautiful imagery, which is always our favorite problem to solve. The result was a moody, cinematic trailer. It’s enough to make even a Pilgrim get excited.
