Vikings are not known for their sense of humor. Conquering villages, taking prisoners and chugging ale are more their bag—but we were tasked with editing a comedic commercial featuring History Channel’s Vikings, and by Loki, we were going to do it. Shot in Ireland and Norway, Vikings draws in viewers with epic battles, intense drama and arresting cinematography. For this custom integrated spot, we combined a fast-paced, cinematic edit with a comedic voice-over, giving the serious Vikings footage a commercial-friendly tone.
